Our extra-curricular highlights
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Filming and Media
Students may experience and participate in the filming and production of recorded lessons.
Game Changer
Students participate in a competitive series of design sprints to create amazing submissions focusing on 'Sustainable Futures for All'.
Extension Writing
Students have the opportunity to attend extension writing sessions and write about topics that interest them. Student pieces are publishing with the Gunnedah Times as part of a new segment - Gunnedah Times Junior Journalist.
Moorambilla Voices Workshops
This national award winning program provides regional students with an extraordinary opportunity to sing, dance and create, culminating in incredible performances and touring opportunities across Australia.
Anzac Day March
Our school is proud to take part in the ANZAC Day march, with great participation from students, staff, and families.
Students show respect and unity marching alongside the community, reflecting on the significance of ANZAC Day and the values it represents.
